Scoring methods

Personal Goal

Everyone picks their own target. Hit yours for 100 points.

In Personal Goal the host picks steps, calories or exercise minutes and sets a range. Each person picks their own daily goal inside it. You score the share of your goal you reach, up to 100 points a day, so a beginner and an athlete can both win.

How points work

  1. The host picks one metric: steps, calories or exercise minutes.
  2. The host sets a range. The top of it can be at most three times the bottom.
  3. Each person picks their own daily goal inside that range.
  4. You score the percentage of your goal you reach, up to 100 points a day. Reach half and you score 50.

A worked example

The host sets a range of 5,000 to 15,000 steps. On Tuesday:

  • Ana picked 6,000 and walked 6,600: 100 points
  • Ben picked 12,000 and walked 9,000: 75 points

Ana walked fewer steps and still scored more, because she beat her own goal.

Who it suits

Groups with very different fitness levels. Everyone races their own number.

Hosting

Hosting takes a Member or Pro plan. For this mode, only the host needs one.

Ties

Equal scores share a rank. When people or teams tie for first at the end of a round, they all win. A round where nobody scored has no winner.
