Distance
Every meter you run counts. Or every meter you run and walk.
Distance gives you 1 point per meter from the runs you record, or from runs and walks if the host chooses. If the same run is saved twice, say by your watch and another app, it counts once. The board shows the distance in your units, kilometers or miles, or points if the host prefers.
How points work
- Only recorded workouts count, not the distance your phone logs walking around all day.
- The host picks runs only, or runs and walks. Runs and walks also counts hikes and treadmill sessions.
- Workouts that overlap on the same day count once, at the longest one.
- The host can add a target, such as 5 km a week, as a total or as one continuous run. It shows who qualified. Points stay meters either way.
A worked example
The competition counts runs only. On Tuesday:
- Your watch records a 5.2 km run: 5,200 points
- Another app saves the same run as 5.1 km: it overlaps, so it adds nothing
- An evening walk of 2.4 km: not a run, 0 points
Tuesday scores 5,200 points. On runs and walks, the walk would add 2,400 more.
Who it suits
Runners and walkers, and groups training for a race together.
Hosting
Any plan can host it, including the free plan.
Ties
Equal scores share a rank. When people or teams tie for first at the end of a round, they all win. A round where nobody scored has no winner.
Ties are judged on the distance the board shows.
