Is MoveTogether available on Android?
Yes. MoveTogether is on Google Play, so anyone can install it.
Do Android and iPhone members compete together?
Yes. They join the same competitions, leaderboards, and weekly Move Leagues. Every device’s data arrives the same way, and every scoring mode treats it the same, so the phone never decides the rank.
How does Health Connect work?
Health Connect is Android’s shared health store. Your watch or fitness app writes to it, and MoveTogether reads only what you allow. MoveTogether requests no write access. It reads seven types at most: steps, active calories, exercise sessions, sleep, distance, weight, and height. Sleep and distance are optional for every member; weight and height are read for Pro members only.
Which watches and trackers work on Android?
Anything that syncs to Health Connect. Samsung Galaxy Watch works through Samsung Health. Garmin, WHOOP, Oura, Polar, Ultrahuman, and Google Health / Fitbit / Pixel Watch share into Health Connect from their own apps. Strava brings workouts, not all-day steps. No watch? Steps your phone records in Health Connect count too.
What permissions are required, and can I revoke them?
Nothing is requested until you connect Health Connect yourself. Background refresh is a separate, optional grant. MoveTogether reads back at most 30 days. Revoke access any time in Android or Health Connect settings. We do not sell Health Connect data or use it to personalize advertising.
