Not as a tracker. It doesn't replace your Fitbit, its sleep tracking, or the Google Health app. It replaces the thing Fitbit dropped: timed challenges with friends. Keep Fitbit for tracking and add MoveTogether for the competition, with friends on Apple Watch, Garmin, WHOOP, Oura, or just a phone.
What replaced Fitbit Challenges?
Nothing, like for like. Fitbit retired Workweek Hustle, Weekend Warrior, and Adventures in March 2023, and the Google Health app that replaced the Fitbit app in May 2026 did not bring them back. Google Health has a weekly friends leaderboard for steps and cardio load, limited to friends on Google Health. MoveTogether runs competitions for a weekend, a week, a month, or custom dates, with eight scoring methods and friends on any device.

How is scoring kept fair between a Fitbit and an Apple Watch?
