League Cohort

Definition

The group of up to 30 MoveTogether users at your tier who compete against each other in a single Move League week. Cohorts form fresh every Monday at 00:00 UTC and disband at the next Monday reset.

How MoveTogether uses it.

MoveTogether builds league cohorts automatically — you don't pick. Cohorts fill in the order users at your tier engage during the week. The deliberate consequence is that you usually won't be in a cohort with your friends; leagues are about local comparison against strangers at your level, not direct friend competition (use the Friends leaderboard for that).

A cohort lasts exactly one week. At Monday reset, your final rank determines whether you promote (top N, varies by tier), demote (bottom 5), or hold. The next cohort forms immediately.
