Head to Head

Definition

A MoveTogether competition scoring method that races one number, and the highest total wins. The host picks the number: Steps, Calories, or Exercise minutes.

Two very different athletes side by side, showing fitness comes in every form.

How MoveTogether uses it.

Every step, active calorie, or exercise minute is a point, depending on which number the host picks. There are no goals and no handicaps, just the total. Head to Head is free to host.

On steps, nobody needs a wearable, because your phone counts steps too. On calories or exercise minutes, it becomes an effort race. Totals favor whoever moves the most, so for very mixed groups, Percentage of Goals or Personal Goal is the fairer fit.
